Interruptions while recording This section of the guide discusses how the DAX Copilot mobile application will behave when you experience an interruption while recording. Interruptions can happen when any other application uses the microphone or speakers of your mobile device while recording with DAX Copilot. Interruptions will cause recording to pause temporarily. The most common example of an interruption is a phone call coming through.

Here’s what to expect if you experience an interruption while you’re recording . • Banner notifications will be displayed to let you know that your recording paused due to an interruption.

• Recording will often resume automatically when the interruption ends, for example if you decline the call or when it goes to voicemail.

Below are some ways to prevent interruptions while you’re recording. • Do Not Disturb (DND)

o Most phones have a Do Not Disturb setting. Enabling DND will prevent calls from coming through. o When manually enabling DND on your phone, remember that you ’ ll need to manually disable the feature when you are ready for your phone to resume normal behavior. • Disable Bluetooth connectivity o Bluetooth devices like earbuds or smart watches can sometimes attempt to use the microphone or speaker on your mobile device, even when recording. o Most phones have a quick setting that allows you to disable Bluetooth communication temporarily.
