Managing your Summaries list

Each time you use DAX Copilot to capture a patient encounter a new summary will be added to your Summaries list, resulting in a lengthy list of summaries over time. Many of the features available to manage your list of summaries are the same whether you ’ re using the DAX Copilot app on your mobile device or your computer. This section will walk you through some of the features you can use to manage your Summaries list.

Summaries will automatically fall off your Summaries list after 30 days regardless of whether the summaries are marked read, unread, edited, or archived.

Search to quickly find the summary you want. When you enter terms into the search, matching results are displayed based on the description of the summary. The description displayed is simply the first 150 characters of the transcript.

Consistently following the best practice of starting your recordings by saying at least 2 patient identifiers will help you find the

summary you want faster. For example, if you ’ re looking for a summary and you started the recording by stating the patient’s name and MRN, you ’ ll be able to enter characters into the search to narrow the results. If the results show more than one summary, narrow the list even further by entering more characters. Start your recordings by verbalizing patient identifiers to make it easier for you to find the right summary.
