① Edit button Select Edit when you ’ re done recording for this encounter and you’re ready to make changes to your summary on your mobile device.

To learn how to edit your summary in DAX Copilot mobile, review the Edit (mobile) section of this guide. Or learn to edit your summary in DAX Copilot on your computer, with the Edit (desktop) section.

Once you start editing a summary, you can no longer add ambient recordings. You can still use Dragon Medical One or your onscreen keyboard to modify your summary on your mobile device.

When you select Edit, a prompt will be displayed.

Select Cancel if you don’t want to edit now.

Select Don’t show again to skip this prompt when editing summaries in the future.

Select Continue to continue and make changes to your summary.

② Timer The timer will display the total length of the recordings that went into this clinical summary. To learn more about total recording time, review the Recording limitations section of this guide.

③ Microphone Select the microphone icon to start or stop recording.

You can stop or restart recording any time before editing a summary. This is useful, for example, if you need to leave the exam room and come back. You can also choose to record your patient identifiers before entering the exam room or record more information after the patient visit.
