Consulting Services DAX Copilot Document Version: 1.1 February 2024

Recap your patient encounter (after the visit) You can optionally use DAX Copilot after the patient visit is over. You might choose this workflow for example, because you could not verify patient consent, or you simply forgot to record during the visit. The primary difference is that you won’t record the live patient visit or the patient’s voice . Instead, you ’ ll verbally recap the visit details to DAX Copilot after the visit. DAX Copilot will create a clinical summary draft based on what you tell it.

① Open PowerMic Mobile and select DAX Copilot at the bottom of the screen . ② Select to start a new encounter. ③ Select to start recording. ④ Then, simply recap the visit while DAX Copilot listens.

You won’t need to use any robotic language, punctuation, or commands. Just tell DAX Copilot all the pertinent details of the patient interaction in your own words. Include your HPI, physical exam findings, and the plan of care you discussed with the patient.

State patient identification verbally at the beginning of the recording . It is recommended you start your recording by stating at least 2 patient identifiers. Examples of patient identifiers are patient name, chief complaint, date of birth, MRN, reason for visit, etc. Consistently starting your recording with patient identifiers will help you keep track of which summary corresponds to which patient when you have multiple summaries to choose from later.

⑤ Select

again to stop recording .

DAX Copilot will behave normally, as if you had recorded a live patient interaction. After you stop recording, DAX Copilot writes a draft summary which is available on your mobile device and your computer within seconds. Each summary will also include a full transcript of your recap.
