button to start a new DAX Copilot encounter. If you don't want to begin an encounter, press the < button to return to the Summaries page.

Important : Be sure to verify patient consent according to your organization's guidelines before using DAX Copilot to record your patient interactions. Your organization will provide you with guidance on obtaining patient consent in accordance with state laws and organizational policies. Many organizations obtain patient consent before the patient even gets to the exam room. If you can ’ t verify patient consent, review the recap your patient encounter (after the visit) section of this guide. You can verbally recap the visit for DAX Copilot after the patient has left.
