Why mark encounters? Read the section below for common reasons to mark summaries as unread, read, or archive them.

Unread New summaries are marked as unread automatically. Once you ’ ve opened a summary, it will be marked as read. If you ’ re not done with a summary, mark it as unread. Using the filter feature to see unread summaries can help you quickly adjust your view to see those that still need your attention.

Read When you open a summary, it will be marked as read (even if you don ’ t make any changes to the summary). If you ’ re satisfied with a summary, leave it marked as read.

Archived When you archive a summary, it falls off your Summaries list view. When a summary is archived, you can no longer add additional recordings to be included or do any more editing to the summary in DAX Copilot. If you create a summary in error, or you ’ re done with it (you ’ ve already transferred it into your EHR and signed your note for example), mark it as Archived. Edited When you make changes to a summary, it will be automatically marked as edited. If you prefer to edit your summaries throughout the day before heading to your computer, filtering for Edited summaries will help you narrow your list down to those that are ready to transfer.

Other summary statuses will appear temporarily in other scenarios.

Delayed (clock icon) This status will display if it takes longer than 60 seconds for DAX Copilot to write a summary when recording is ended.

Uploading (hourglass icon) This status will display while the ambient recording is being uploaded.

40
