Create a patient encounter Important : Be sure to verify patient consent according to your organization's guidelines before using DAX Copilot to record your patient interactions. Your organization will provide you with guidance on obtaining patient consent in accordance with state laws and organizational policies. Many organizations obtain patient consent before the patient even gets to the exam room. If you do n’t have patient consent, you can still use DAX Copilot after you conclude the visit. Review the recap your patient encounter (after the visit) section of this guide.
Sign in
Once you have PowerMic Mobile installed and configured on your mobile device, log in to get started. If you have not yet installed and configured the DAX Copilot mobile application, review the PowerMic Mobile installation and configuration section of this guide.
Open PowerMic Mobile on your mobile device. Choose your profile. Select to see a list of profiles and choose the one you want. If you have just one profile, it will be selected for you automatically. If you have multiple profiles, PowerMic Mobile will default to your last selection. Enter the username provided by your organization . Your username will be the same username you use for Dragon Medical One on your computer. Select Sign in. Already logged in to DAX Copilot? Skip to the Record an encounter section of this guide to start your first encounter.
